Om Nils Perssons ursprung
After an American request for input on ancestors for Nils Persson Fix my thoughts were as follows:
1. I started with controlling if my assumption of Nils & his siblings (Hanna, Elna & Botil) seemed to be correct - check.
2. Then I looked at the daugthers names of the 4 siblings - very good indicator for mother's name - that gave me Karin/Karna or Kerstin/Kersta.
3. Then I noted that Nils was a "salpeter boiler" and I know that crafts very often were inherited.
4. Baptisms and witnesses are mostly in Mörrum, Ysane and Mjällby - so look there first.
5. I found the parents on the first try - parents Per & Karna in Ysane - children Nils & Botil. And the other 3 siblings followed from that. Father salpetersjudare every birth.
6. Added fifth sibling Masse/Mats/Måns definitively after having found him as a witness in Wittskövle on Nils¿ son Nils baptism (sailor Måns Persson) and after that as a father there with both his brother Nils Fix and his sister Hanna's daughter Gunnil Axelsdotter as baptism witnesses.
